Word of Encouragement: Give God A Chance To Turn It Around
Often the greatest difficulty in Christianity is having enough faith to believe God will do just as he promised. We must rely on the fact God has never missed an appointment, squandered an opportunity, misled His people, or recanted a promise. He has always done just what He said He would do. So what did He promise? According to His word, He said:
If we sowed in tears, we would reap in joy.
He said He would give us beauty for ashes.
He said He would turn our mourning into laughter.
If He has ever given us the blessing of these fulfilled promises before, He can do it again. Remember He took utter darkness and made light. He took a formless, voided, piece of nonexistent matter and made earth. He took dust and made you and me. He just needs the opportunity of your weakness and a moment of time to turn things around. God knows how to make everything alright.
Will you trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding? If so, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
